Overview

Cognify 2018 was a Human Behaviour and Psychology Conference in London

The client approached me to turn thier Photoshop/InDesign based designs into HTML and CSS templates (with a light sprinkling of JavaScript) - for use in their final website.

Introduction

I was initially approached via LinkedIn, where I quoted for the work.

Initially they chose a cheaper quote. But after being let down, returned to ask if I would fulfil the requirements of the original brief.

After a successful first phase of work, they returned to a second phase.

Process

  • The project was completed across two phases of work - both totalling around 7 days
  • Our workflow was cyclical - with nightly check-ins.
  • All communication, aside of an initial discovery call, as asynchronous and conducted via email.
  • The work was maintained on GitHub, and presented to the client via a sub domain of my personal website.
  • At the end of the project, all deliverables were provided as a zip archive.
  • The final product was delivered inside 14 days, unfortunately due to external factors the Conference didn’t go ahead and the website was abandoned.
